For the first time since the 2004-05 campaign, Mississippi State will enter the season ranked in the Top 20. The 18th-ranked Bulldogs host Rider Friday night in their season opener with an 8 p.m. tip-off. Naturally, head coach Rick Stansbury would rather enter the season with those expectations than the other way around.
